Title: Help with exporting ragdoll to garry's mod
Post by: saref on March 28, 2014, 06:00:15 AM
I'm trying to export the ragdoll into the garry's mod. I get this:

(https://www.wallworm.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fstorage6.static.itmages.ru%2Fi%2F14%2F0328%2Fh_1396000798_4384774_5f5e065dae.jpg&hash=714b70f614812c2074b4abb1ef9763f6f564b44e)

What am I doing wrong?

It's hard to say... there isn't enough information for me to answer the question. Perhaps you need to read the Making Ragdolls in 3ds Max for Source docs (http://dev.wallworm.com/document/74/making_ragdolls_in_3ds_max_for_source.html). Take note of the steps for setting limitation on bone axis in the hierarchy tab.

I need to enable the "No Self Collisions"?

I doubt it but you can try that. Did you read the link above and take note of setting joint limits in the hierarchy tab? Each bone has to be given limits on how far it can bend in each axis.

Thank you. Everything turned out well. The problem was fishboxes, and as you said in the limit bones rotation.

I'm glad you figured it out. I'm curious what you mean by "fishboxes". Are you referring to Hit Boxes?

No, I wanted to say "Physbox". This error translator.
