help! I'm new and I have no idea what I'm doing!
I have a very poor understanding of paths, and I had to create the directory sourcesdk_content\cstrike\etc because that's what the tutorial I was following suggested.
I keep getting this error and I don't know how to move past it.

I am sorry you are having problems. I don't see a problem immediately...
I don't have time tonight to look into the problem deeply but will answer in more depth tomorrow. If you have another mod (like CS:S, TF2, etc) try compiling into those mods and see if the problem persists.
