I've learned of a serious bug in the VMF exporter introduced in the last update. I'll try to have a patch released tonight. Sorry for those who experienced this problem. (In essence, the exporter was making brushes out of all kinds of nodes that shouldn't have been turned into brushes. It was the problem of releasing an update and not enough testing.
